Drift. Breathe.
Capture. Share.
A living cloud of light that breathes inside your phone — orbitable, palette-able, and always different. Open the app and lose ten minutes to the slow drift, or roll the dice for a new field every tap.
What it is
A small iOS app that runs a custom physics engine at 60 frames a second. Particles drift through a curl-noise field or follow a strange attractor; soft additive blending and HDR bloom give the field its glow.
Two steps. That's the playbook.
There's nothing to learn. The app explains itself the first time you open it.
1. Pick a starting field
Cycle through the nineteen presets with the ◀ ▶ arrows, or tap 🎲 for an entirely new field — every roll is unique. See one you love? Tap ❤ to keep it. Tap 📷 to save it as a still.
2. Make it yours
Tap the slider icon to open the editor. Around twenty controls govern particle count, motion mode, palette, tint, bloom, vignette, confinement shape — every parameter is yours. Drag-orbit and pinch-zoom around the field as it drifts.
Made by hand, in a small studio.
Sacred Drift is part of the Flash Art Revival series — small generative-art apps that run quietly on a phone. Sister app: Sacred Spin (mandalas you spin and tune). No subscription. No telemetry. No newsletter you didn't sign up for.
